The Country Liberal Party has not started work on the report into the Territory's nuclear industry that was promised 12 months ago.
Solomon MHR Dave Tollner said he did not know why the report had not been done.
Mr Tollner said the announced report wasnot a stunt, but it was a "job for the party policy committee and it's still pending."
"We're very serious about finding out, you know, the science behind nuclear enrichment, finding out what it means environmentally, what it may mean commercially and if people want it," he said.
Mr Tollner said he had put a lot of effort into understanding energy in general, but would like to see the party come up with a position as well.
Territory Senator Trish Crossin said the Coalition must make its policy position on uranium enrichment in the Territory clear before the election.
"Many Territorians made submissions to the CLP's enrichment inquiry announced last year, and are still waiting for a response," she said.
The CLP voted to hold an investigation into the feasibility of establishing a nuclear enrichment industry in August 2006.
