No decision yet on NT nuclear waste dump
ABC NT Local News
The Federal Government says it hasn't yet made a decision on whether to go ahead with a nuclear waste dump at Muckaty Station in the Northern Territory.
A spokeswoman for the Resources Minister Martin Ferguson says the Minister is still taking advice from the department.
The Howard Government had been considering building the dump at Muckaty, near Tennant Creek.
Before the federal election, the Labor party promised to repeal federal legislation on nuclear dumps.
