Australia May Stop Russia Uranium Deal Over Georgia

Australia said it may revoke a uranium agreement with Russia unless it withdraws all forces from Georgia, the Associated Press reported, citing Foreign Minister Stephen Smith.

Australia's parliament began a routine examination this week of the accord signed last September, the news agency said today. The agreement allows Russia to buy uranium from Australia and use it to make fuel for its nuclear power plants.
