A PUBLIC meeting about plans to build a nuclear waste dump at Muckaty Station will be held in Tennant Creek tonight.

Among those attending will be Planning Minister and Member for Barkly Gerry McCarthy.

WA Greens Senator Scott Ludlam will travel to Muckaty Station tomorrow to meet traditional owners from the area.

He said he was worried the Senate inquiry announced last week would not visit Tennant Creek.

The meeting is at the CWA hall at 6pm today.
