Concerns have been raised as to whether traditional owners of Muckaty station were properly consulted by the Northern Land Council before they offered the Federal govt land for a nuclear waste dump.

A decision on a site for a nuclear waste dump is getting close with Federal Resources Minister, Martin Ferguson giving his strongest indication yet that the dump will be located at Muckaty station near Tenant creek in the Northern Territory.
