Exploration for Uranium in Central Australia continues to heat up, with another company expanding its operations in the region.
Uranium Exploration Australia has made a deal with Cullen Resources to explore at Yambla, 140 kilometres est of Alice Springs.
Managing director Russell Penney says the tenement was previously explored back in the early 90s.
"The area has an identified prospect where there is actually mineralisation exposed at the surface.
"We believe we can work that up fairly quickly with mapping, sampling and drilling and hopefully get some exploration done in the field this year."
