MORE than 100 members from the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) both in the NT and interstate will protest the proposed Muckaty nuclear waste dump at a rally this afternoon.

Northern Territory MUA branch manager Thomas Mayor said workers from Darwin and down south will let their opinion known at Stokes Hill Wharf at 4pm.

"The workers are concerned with nuclear waste coming through our port," Mr Mayor said.
